The Optimate6 12V/24V - 12V 6A / 24V 3A, model TM381, is a high-performance battery charger and maintainer designed for deep cycle batteries. It is part of the Gold Series and is optimized to enhance the performance and extend the life of 12V and 24V deep cycle batteries used in RVs, boats, and other applications. It also works great for any 12V starter battery.

The charger offers precise charging with two 12V charge modes and three 24V charge modes, allowing you to dial in the right charge level for flooded batteries, sealed AGM and GEL, or lead-calcium CA-CA batteries. Your charge mode selection remains in memory even if the AC power is lost or the battery is disconnected, and a safe selection ensures you don't accidentally charge a 12V battery if you previously selected a 24V mode.

Charging is fully automatic and worry-free. The Ampmatic charge control, with built-in temperature compensation, automatically adjusts the charge rate according to the battery size, condition, and ambient temperature, ensuring an optimal charge every time.

The automatic 8-step program recovers deeply discharged batteries from as low as 0.5 Volts, and the accurate pulsing absorption completes the charging to 100% without gassing, followed by a long-term maintenance mode that keeps the battery at its optimal level 24-7.
