The Optimate7 6V/12V - 10A, model TM263, Gold Series high-performance battery charger and maintainer is designed to optimize the performance and extend the life of 6V and 12V deep cycle batteries in your RV or other craft, as well as work great for any 12V starter battery.

This charger offers precise charging with three 6V charge modes and three 12V charge modes, enabling you to dial in the right charge level for flooded batteries, sealed AGM and GEL, or lead-calcium CA-CA batteries. Your charge mode selection remains in memory even if the AC power is lost or the battery is disconnected, and the safe selection ensures you don't accidentally charge a 6V battery if you previously selected a 12V mode.

Charging is fully automatic and worry-free. The Ampmatic charge control, with built-in temperature compensation, automatically adjusts the charge rate according to battery size, condition, and ambient temperature, guaranteeing an optimal charge every time. The automatic 8-step program can save a deeply discharged battery from as low as 0.5 Volts, and the accurate pulsing absorption completes charging to 100% without gassing, followed by a long-term maintenance mode that keeps the battery at its optimal level 24/7.

The charger features selected default charge voltage, with 3 modes for 6V and 3 modes for 12V, and the voltage is actively regulated to ambient temperature. It can recover deep discharge batteries from as low as 0.5 Volts, and the pulsed recovery mode reconditions the battery to accept the charge again. The Ampmatic charge adjusts the charge rate to the battery size and condition, and the pulsed absorption mode equalizes the cells and optimizes battery performance.

The charger also includes a state of health (S.O.H.) test, and an interactive 24-7 maintenance mode that monitors the charge level hourly and delivers a float charge when needed. The accurate temperature-regulated float charge voltage ensures the battery is never overcharged or undercharged.
