Battery SAVE mode with BMS reset: Starts from 0.5V with continuous monitoring and testing of charge acceptance or bad/shorted cell condition, preventing unnecessary and unsafe charging of a faulty battery.

safeTº: Automatic charge rate adjustment to ambient temperature, reducing charging below freezing and no charging if the temperature is below -20ºC/-4ºF to protect the lithium batteries.

Ampmatic: Microprocessor adjusts current to the ideal LiFePO4 charge curve, matching the battery size and condition for the fastest and most complete charge.

Protection against incorrect voltage selection: The charger will immediately warn and not proceed with charging if a 12.8V (4s) battery is connected with the 16V (5s) setting selected. The user must confirm the nominal voltage of the connected battery is 16V (5s) before the SAVE mode activates.

The OptiMate Lithium 4s 9.5A / 5s 7.5A sealed battery charger and maintainer is safe for vehicle electronics, with sparks suppressed and automatic shut-down in case of short-circuit or battery disconnection. It also features a 3-year limited replacement warranty.

The charger's Ampmatic charge control for Lithium adjusts the current to match the battery size and condition, providing the appropriate charge for small and large batteries. The most advanced Lithium save mode can save batteries from as low as 0.5V, continuing to charge if the battery is healthy and stopping and warning if it's faulty.

The OptiMATE Lithium 24-7 smart inter-active maintenance feature prevents discharge from connected circuitry, helping to preserve battery power and extend battery life.
